Away from the City on all advance voting days and election day? Apply for a mail-in ballot.

Who may vote at the advance voting?
Any qualified resident elector or non-resident property elector may vote at an advance voting opportunity.

What should I bring?
You are required to produce two (2) pieces of identification (at least one must provide a signature) in order to prove residency and identity.

Acceptable forms of identification include:
  • BC Driver’s License
  • BC Identification Card
  • BC CareCard or Gold CareCard
  • ICBC Vehicle Insurance Documents
  • Citizenship Card
  • Kelowna Property Tax Notice
  • Social Insurance Card
  • Credit or Debit Card
  • Utility Bill

If you do not live in Kelowna, but are an owner of property in the city, you may qualify as a non-resident property elector. 

Other forms or identification may be accepted, at the discretion of the Presiding Election Official at the voting place.
